A primary weapon that fires a devastating distortion sphere.
The weapon is very heavy, but small in size due to no big rotating parts.
By holding fire input, a distortion sphere is created in front of the bot in the initially looking direction, and it gets bigger and bigger over time, the maximum size determined by the amount of weapons, up to 6. The distortion sphere will stay where it is created and DOES NOT follow the bot, and moving too far away causes it to explode harmlessly. The bot can hold it indefinitely, though this thing is very loud, bright, high profile and draws attention.
Once the fire input is released, the distortion sphere is launched at where the bot aim, moving slowly but not affected by gravity, and bounces off walls.
A distortion sphere has a remaining damage value, doing damage reduces this value and it cannot do more damage than it. This value is also decreasing over time. The distortion sphere vanished if this goes to 0.
The distortion sphere will damage enemies from a distance, with a steady damage rate, and the rate is shared with all its targets. If the distortion sphere itself hits something directly, it will unload all its remaining damage to the target, ignore its aoe damage rate limit, and if it still has remaining damage after the hit, it will continue to fly. It pass through friendly entities.
The distortion sphere can be shot, taking damage reduce its remaining damage. Two distortion spheres of opposite teams will also damage each other.
A distortion sphere visually, its main size determined by its remaining damage, its aura size determined by its aoe dps limit.
Obviously a SpaceTek Dynamics manufactured weapon.
Rough meta stat design: 50%/s charging, each weapon adds 100% max charge up to 600%, must have least 100% charge to release, a successful fire causes a 2 * charge seconds post fire cooldown, a released distortion sphere has a starting max damage of base damage * charge and an aoe dps of base dps * charge, it lose damage at rate of base dps * charge / 30 per second.
