So looking at the recording, there are 2 issues one of which we already know about and I've responded to it in a different thread. Basically the mod reference checks are taking ages for larger collections such as Storywealth.

Additionally I'm thinking that F4SE did not automatically install because you have the automation setting disabled?

Yeah, I typically have all automation options disabled

I'll have to speak to the design team about this one, theoretically this works as expected as you've disabled automation. It's the wording in that dialog that is misleading.

Might add an extra note to the dialog if we detect that the options are disabled that you'll have to install/enable manually once it's downloaded.
