#oblivion mods say active, but theyre not

new to modding. I got the script extender and a mod downloaded but when ever I start oblivion there are no visible changes. not sure what im doing wrong, followed several tutorials with no luck

Its because skse is a launcher for a modded game(necessary for alot of mods) and i think bevilex inis has bit of astructure oof in it

Right click on the bevilex mod, open in file explorer and if you first see a folder called Oblivion Stutter Remover ini file, then that explains it

so yea, you wont see any visible changes because neither mod actually changes anything regarding visuals, one is a launcher/dependency for most mods and the other is supposed to make the game stutter less

one solid tip i can give, is as follows:
read EVERYTHING on the mod page(and some comments if there is any) BEFORE you download any mods, so you know what they do, what they need and how to use them if they have any functions like that. Also, pay attention to the Requirements, lot of peeps overlook it and think that a mod with no actual requirements requires 50 or whatever mods to work(when in reality, its mods that require the mod of which's page you are reading currently)
the more you spend time reading before installing, the less issues you will have and eventually you'll be like me, helping others
