these are probably stupid but,
1.Dose the mods app tell or allow you to update mods from the app like curse forage
2.Are we ever going to be able to download stuff from the app like curse forage and vortex
3.Is there a good way to bulk add mods

Yes, but it's still a work in progress. It will tell you there's an update, but it wouldn't replace your existing mod when you download it. Still a work in progress.

The 'Mos Manager Download' button works. At some point in far future you'll also be able to view site mods in the App.

Installing a collection works. Vortex has an option to 1-click export/create a collection from your existing setup. You could then add that collection to the App.
