I was installing a pretty big SkyrimSE collection, and the creator of the collection advised to put the mod download folder in the same drive as Skyrim's exe file.
For awhile, I've had my Steam games on a separate drive (D) but it turned out Vortex had been downloading mods into my C drive.
So I went into Vortex's settings and moved the folder, but my computer froze, and I closed Vortex before it happened because I thought I'd screwed something up and I saw no way to cancel the process. I hadn't even downloaded the collection yet, and the mods that were in Vortex already weren't important to me, so I didn't think anything of it. But Windows Explorer was going really slow, so I restarted my PC. Then instead of booting to windows, it says my SSD is about to crap out, and that I should back up my files. But I can't even boot into Easy Mode from the BIOS because now it can't detect any bootable drives.
I may be an idiot, but not enough of an idiot to miss if my mod downloads were the same folder as my computer's main files. So I have no idea how this happened.
Anyone have any idea wtf could've happened and hopefully know a way to fix it without buying a new SSD and installing Windows again?
