so lets start at the begining, a text file in the main directory?
basically https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console#Using_Batch_Files_with_the_bat_Command, just replace Skyrim wiht Starfield
The console is a powerful in-game tool only available to PC players. From the console it is possible, while playing the game, to enter commands that will alter most aspects of gameplay, and it is also possible to obtain detailed information about NPCs, creatures, and other items in the game.
-grumbles- alright hang on
similar though i have mods with bat file commands, just create a .ini file and it starts everytime i load into the game? new save or not?
the objective is to reduce and/or halt having to enter the bat file commands, the file is edited for desired loads
.ini file? now where's an ini coming into this?
well, that's just an example, which you won't need inless you want to start in the WhiteRiverWatch01 cell (which likely won't exist in starfield)
well yeah, and i want it to auto enter commands at the game load
so, you make a .txt file, put it into starfield\data, and into it you write all the commands you wish to execute
then, when the game loads, you use the bat command to execute your file
that'd likely require a SFSE dll
2.1 of a SFSE dll that auto-loads bat files?
2.1 of SFSE
that alone won't do
-grumbles-
serving "mods" as bat files is inefficient anyway
recreate said mod as a .esm
if only said authors would listen to a user
no, you do it
FMods are so much easier too
what's a fmod?
i call it a installer, choose your settings, i have one from starfield, just a sec
fmod or fomod, meh, it works for me
windows sticky notes will suffice for now, ill use it for quick access to my bat files
peace
