Hey there bosses can only be inflicted with taunt if I’m not wrong

With the meele dmg and status effect damage getting more accessible would be nice if Bosses (immun to bind and stun) could be inflictied with some sort of debuff after being “stunned” or “binded” by a skill. Like 2-3s debuff would work great so we could deal more damage on Bosses and get advantage of this new stat 🫢

Not sure if this change is too much to ask in terms of balance in the game but would be very interesting

Since I play JS i don’t mind because I got taunt but I know most classes don’t

I think the cc resistance is part of the difficulty of the boss

#

but I do think you could be ok with allowing them to get debuffed

#

even if not cc'd

#

purely for status eff changes

#

just like OP mentioned

#

could use some tweaks for balance purposes

if the status effect damage stat worked with slow that'd already help since bosses are still vulnerable to slow

#

it is a bit of a shame that stat is pretty useless vs bosses right now, and in turn generally useless since vs normal mobs there's better things to invest on

status effect on bosses is not the goal, just the debuff to get a bit of advantage of this new stats investment owothink

The way I see this (And I must make a point of this, since my opinion does not reflect that of the developers) is that the way these two new damage bonuses were implemented remind me too much of Normal Damage and Boss damage, where one is good against one type of monster (Status for Normal mobs) and one for the other (Close-Range for Boss mobs).

That may have not been the intention, but it seems to be that this ended up being the case, as most bosses (due to being segmented) are not affected by Status effects as often as regular mobs.

I think that if you apply any kind of debuff, you should increase the damage a little, just so you can rotate debuffs on the boss and amplify the damage.
