I would like to know if Latele will make any executable for Linux, because it seems that microsoft with their new system seems that they will add an AI to keep taking screenshots and to make a timeline of what I research etc and this will give a lot of trouble with data security, I know our data is already on the internet etc however there are other privacy issues worse with this happening and I would like to know if this will have or not

You must be referring to the 'Recall' application that will be installed on a future Windows update.

While we cannot provide you an answer regarding whether La Tale will be available on other Operating Systems at the time (this is only up to the developers and how complicated it may be to make the code work under other systems), we can at least give you advice regarding Recall.

This application, from what was presented to the public so far will be part of the 'Copilot' feature, and will be an attempt to "retrace" your steps in your system in case of a mistake, permanently deleted file, etc. - While this function is positive, it also leads to security concerns as you have mentioned.

So far we have not been given a date of when this update will start to roll in for us as users, but at least we have been given hints that by having Copilot disabled, Recall will also be disabled.

Unfortunately Microsoft has made it so that it is not easy to remove Copilot from the system so easily, and for your security we are not at liberty to give advice or instructions on how to remove Windows features as this could lead to potential damage in your system.

For our end, we recommend to have the feature disabled and remember to disable it again once the 'Recall' function/application is added to your system in a future update.
