Story:
In the history of man, there has been war, not only from the outside, but from within as well. This war has been fought against an immesurable force. In some turn of events, creatures of these factions began to turn on the others. Bacteriophages: from a deadly faction containing some of the worst pathogens emerge a virus that targets bacteria. With a few modifications, these viruses can become sentient. With physical ones, it is possible to arm them with assault weapons and cybernetic enhancements.
In this game, take on the role of a bacteriophage that must exterminate bacteria in a last-ditch effort to save a body.

Description:
Phage: One is a roguelite where you find not guns but parts of them. You assemble your weapon and swap out parts instead instead of swapping out entire guns. You have different calibers, grenade launchers, sights, magazines, etc. The enemies are bacteria, similarly cybernetically enhanced, and bosses are as well. You are also modified to inject friendly cells (the map) with dna (modifiers that affect the map)
