Hey! I am an artist making a game! Over Easy is a point and click horror game. Short and simple. Some slight puzzle mechanics, dialogue, quick-time events, etc. I have been working on the game art primarily, writing, slight coding, marketing and such, for almost a year now. As of now, my current programmer needs someone to take on what could be the majority of the coding.

We are aiming to release the game on Itch.io and Game jolt on January 22 with a steam release possibly later. We can delay if needed, but it would be great to make that goal release date! (This may be delayed if animations take too long, but I'm giving it my all lol)

There is a lot that needs to be done, but we have and are chipping at it. I have notion, drive, game design doc, etc ready to help you get on board!

I'm looking for someone who has a good amount of experience coding, knowledge of Godot, and can be patient with me (someone who has very limited coding know-how). I also ask that no AI be used in creating code for the game.

Pay is determined by performance. The online reception of Over Easy has been very promising, but I am unsure about how much the game will end up making. Regardless, I will be following a split of 60/20/20. Again, there is no promise of any certain amount because it depends on how the game does! Currently, I aim to price it at 3$-5$ dollars, and I'm (hopefully rightfully) optimistic we can do decent!

The team is currently just me and my programmer. Communication will primarily be over discord either in a group chat or with me directly. I mostly prefer communicating over text. I am not against calls and such, but i am a bit shy/busy, so i mostly just text.

Reach out at my email [email protected]

Or dm me here on discord. Preferably with a portfolio, but I'm open to hearing from anyone who's interested. I am looking for someone who is professional, chill, and serious about sticking to and completing the game!

thanks ya'll
