#character glitches inside of blender object

I made a space ship in blender and to test it out in game I exported it and in godot I checked its physics I made it static but when I go to walk on it I clip in and get stuck

im using a characterbody3d not sure if that could be the problem I would use rigidbody3D but whenever I move it feels like im dragging myself on the ground and I stop here an there even tho i didnt let go of the key the ship has a collision shape its a staticbody Edit changing to a rigidbody did nothing
