Hello!
I'm making a roguelike/survivors-like about cleaning up a dungeon with a magic vacuum, and I'd really appreciate some eyes on the game, to test for bugs / provide feedback. Any time you could spend playing the game would be really appreciated! You can play it on your browser here: https://slimefriend.itch.io/dungeon-dust-buster?secret=HXrmSM5Y7qXRpG6SxE0CT6VP5w8
#Need playtesters for Dungeon Dust Buster!

I think it's really well made. For whatever reason it was unplayably slow on Chrome, but worked fine with Firefox.
I like the art style, and the music sets the mood.
The enemies are interesting enough with their abilities. They need to be taken seriously as you can't outrun them, and ammo is quite limited if you're not also cleaning. I'm a big fan of that.
I do think the game should pause when you talk to the devil. Really hard to read and handle mobs at the same time.
I did run into a bug where my shots were colliding with nothing immediately after firing for a while.
It could be argued that movement feels a little slow, but overall I feel it's very well balanced.
thank you for the input! this is my first time releasing a game in...a while, so ty for reminding me of standard procedures like checking if it works in more than just Firefox haha. note taken about talking to the devil, I'll rethink that bit. as for the bug, that hasn't happened to me yet but I'll do some more testing to see if I can recreate it.
but I'm glad you liked it! for the movement speed, i think I like the ratio between your speed and the slimes speed as it makes them difficult to ignore while cleaning, but I can try giving both a buff.
Yeah, I think the player to enemy speed ratio is great. If you speed up the player I'd want you to speed up the enemies as well. But that may overwhelm a players reflexes? Which maybe you could compensate for by lowering the mob count? That or don't touch it. See what others have to say about it first.
got the following error on chrome
oh, it should be on web so it's odd it's giving an error about an executable...
I played on Brave and it worked fine. The speed is pretty slow, I support the idea of increasing both player and slime speed. With higher speed the traps can be more easily used to hurt slimes, so that's something to think about. I had the green shield and the trap in the wall still took my last life, I don't know if it is a bug or I had already taken 2 hits but maybe an indicator of the active buffs right below the player could help.
But it was fun to play, I mentally said "those cheeky walls" when they appeared flinging arrows at me.
