#Lighting going through walls of mesh

I have some PointLIght3D nodes set up as light sources in my scene and some of the light goes through the level's walls. The whole level is one mesh and I have checked all normals they are correct. I assume one solution to this is light baking? I don't want to bake the lights as I want some of them to flicker and be dynamic. Any ideas?
