So I got some parts of graphedit working, however the nodes aren't connecting. They snap, but the connection is undone. How do I like, validate the connection? Does the documentation say anything about this? Not of what I can see.

Okay, confirmed. The documentation does not tell me what I need to know. Either I am missing out on something obvious everyone else knows about, or people generally don't know how to use this feature.
