#XR input detection

I have been reading the docs for hours now and I am unable to find any information on how to detect inputs in VR. From what I understand OpenXR has its own input system but the docs don’t cover how to use that input system. Can someone explain to me how I can detect VR controller inputs?
have you used the XRcontroller3D node?
