Morning Godot fans, I would like to create the same mechanics for a cuphead 2D platformer, fan based game. Some of the things I would like to great a grip of are as follows:
- Solid 2d platforming with collision based physics.
- Exploring Godot's tilemap system
- Onion skinned sprite based animations
- Simple enemy AI
- Create my own, quirky based music, intending to use Bitwig as my primary DAW and a few VSTs
- Save and reload screens
- Coyote time
- one way collisons
- Enemy and player vfx.
- Screen vfx shaders including chromatic aberration, and a CRT monitor effect, Vingette and color grading.
- Cartoon based particle effects
