#Why do you need to include your e-mail adress to get unblocked?

this is not the foundation's space, so we can't know for sure.
that said, how do you expect to hear back from them? it's an appeal, not a "fill out this form to get unblocked" form
it still feels weird tho, i think it would've been more appropriate if it was just the user's twitter handle
damn wasnt expecting to see godot on youtube for this lmao. Time to see how the Korean Godot Community is doing again.
ah.. few of the korean GODOT devs are moving to unreal now.
This post makes it look to me like the adresses will be stored, is that true or false?
the post just reads like screenshots of the tweets will be saved, not anything else tangentially related
plus, they'd have to go through the effort of matching the tweet to accounts to have the email linked to it
I mean, by definition the email will be stored in the google sheets the responses are compiled in, cause like, how else will they get the info, but that has nothing to do with the tweet
what if they have dms closed?
email just means they have a surefire way to respond
Usually google surveys dont specifically mention the usage of the adress, its weird
yea, usually they disable it if they don't need it
but here, you kinda wanna know the answer to your unblock request
true
and not have to "find out yourself"
(also cause you don't know how long they'll take to respond)
as such: email is needed to get back to you
Guess we‘ll wait for a mod
i mean, idk how many of the godot mods are checking here
as someone who has moderated a small game server before there have been a lot of funny moments when people submit tickets, and ive seen yt videos of streamers going over funny ban appeals. this is probably in the same vein, youll be good
It used to be official until recently
Well I'm 33 so it's relatively recent for me
that's fine. this happened after we became unofficial, and we have nothing to do with it.
Yup
check the hours and time of that tweet compared to the hours and time of the appeal form.
It's obviously about the silly replies to the twitter post on the godot account, not about the emails.
If it was obvious this topic would exist
