Hello, MysticNuggets here! Me and my friend Austin have been trying our best to make a mario fangame in Godot for the past couple of weeks. We have everything covered except for coding. I proposed we use godot because I felt it would be much easier to use than most other dev softwares such as Unity (because of its money stuff 🤮 ), UE5 (it's 2D is horribly discussed and tutorials are scarce), etc. etc. Since coding turns my brain into mush. I decided to put the coding on Austin. Turns out, his brain also turns to mush at the sight of coding.
