Hello!
Who Am I?
Snayff, a hobbyist with a hope of making games. I have been working on something in my spare time.

What are the Headlines?
Duration: 3-4 weeks, full time.
Budget: £2-3k.
Objective: Build the core functionality of a real time, 2D game. Think Hero's Hour's chaotic combat, Total War's formations & units, and Nova Drift's skill system.
Start: Next week/week after. (week commencing 02/09 or 09/09)
What is the Work?
Architecturally, I want to favour composition over inheritance, though I want to use Godot's capabilities most of all.
The work is in 2 parts.
Part 1: Initial code review to understand your knowledge, your priorities.
Part 2: Start a new game, using anything from the repos linked above, as appropriate. I'd like your input into how to best make the most of your time. Here are some of the core features I have in mind, which we'll agree before we kick off work:
- physics-focused gameplay. *
- actors working in cohesive units, inc. formations.
- actor/unit pathfinding
- projectiles, melee. *
- ai state. (LimboAI, perhaps?)
- status effects. *
- active skills, passive skills. *
- stat system.
Those with an "" are functional in the linked repos. *
I'd also like to start on some design workflows, time permitting.
What is the Proposed Process?
Payment: By milestone. 25% on agreeing work, 25% on confirming feature works and meets brief, 50% on receipt of code/code merge.
Payment method: Paypal preferred, open to others.
Agreement: Contract to be signed before work.
