I'm looking for someone to learn and get feedback from on for creating my own shaders. all 3d, all code based Godot 4.2.

Specifically around post process, differences between preview vs in game, different render modes etc.

First game but 20+ years of dev experience.

Hi, this sounds like fun! I have 8 years of gamedev experience, the most recent of which has been full-time godot (including a procedural particle effect designer using GPUParticles, which is also sort of a shader), and I've been responsible for the graphics on every project I worked on since grad school.

So... private message me if that sounds like a good fit!

I am interested. I do VFX contracts and I have 5 years experience with graphics programming and shaders, it's my obsession. I've coached others in the past and teach professionally. I'm constantly giving my time to the community to help people help themselves. Shaders are hard, especially when you want to do something low level with the RenderingDevice where knowledge of graphics API's is essential. I know Godot's rendering limitations inside and out, and I am happy to help.
