I'm a beginner dev . I'm looking to join projects to gain experience . I am doing this as a hobby but I'm still attentive and work on gamedev few days a week. I made pong and tic-tac-toe from scratch. I keep remaking these games as I learn more complex utilities such as signals, and a mainbus script to handle global signals. I may be interested
I would be interested in the project, I’m not exactly the best but I do have an RPG prototype that I’ve been working on
I’m hoping to gain some more experience
Here’s a video
I'm assuming your game is in GDScript. But I'll say this in case you decide to use C#. If you find another C# programmer, ping me because I may want to work alongside that other C# programmer so I can gain more hands on experience in C# in other peoples projects.
How is this rev share if its not for profit?
rev share can be just making the game for fun
look at the posting rules under definition for revshare
"revshare - This is a collaboration project and if we make money, we'll share it with everyone or we're just making a game for fun"
"If we make money", meaning you intend to try to sell it lol
anything can happen in game dev world. non-profit can turn into rev-share.
Of course it can. The OP stated it isn't lol. Idk why you are speaking for htem
I dont really know the context. Just saw this chat was active again. Sorry ill just leave then.
Hey there! Not sure if you're still looking, but I'm interested. 12-year gamedev vet with 6 years Godot experience. I've dabbled in every genre from action to puzzle, and worked on a few RPG systems as well. If you're willing to pay, that would be ideal.
has no one who's responded so far taken the position? i may be interested but there'd definitely be a lot of learning involved as ive never made a system like this
You havn't got any tag for payment which is mandetory. please add whichever bluee tag most fits your job posting
Why do you say that, what tag would fit it more.
You said its a not for profit game, so anyone being hired should be getting shared ownership of the project right? That's revshare
That's why the alternative is shared ownership. Its still counts as a revshare project if its not fixed pay up front so that tag is fine
You are looking for a programmer to work with you, that means you are hiring as opposed to you overing services to someone else
Thee tags don't have o bee perfect, they are an easy way for people to find posts that might be suited to them. I think hiring - revshare makessence for this post just fine
