Yes, it is ok to repost when you haven't been answered in a while or that the responses weren't satisfying, There's no precise rule for how long you should wait, or when is it ok vs not, because it's a case per case thing and highly contextual.
Generally, if you're asking this question here, it means you're probably polite enough and sensible enough to make that judgement call, so go ahead!
As a side note, no one has ever been kicked or banned for cross-posting. At worst, a minor warning (often if the person does not listen to reason)
