#Root motion not properly working / Root bone not animating?

Hey, I'm a complete beginner to godot (coming from unity). I'm working on this little tv boy and the bones are working perfectly fine on my animation software (cascadeur) but the root/hip bone doesnt seem to convert well in godot. Is there something wrong with my armature?

format is .fbx

have you followed the docs?

it looks like there's some necessary setup (root motion view and animationTree)
