Need help setting up Chess Roguelike (LGBTQ friendly project)

Hi, I am mostly a visual novel creator (my most recent game on Steam is Wicked Willow) and I am branching out more into other kinds of games. I have some coding experience with story games and I've done some tutorials for Godot. I would like to chat/consult with someone who knows what they are doing, and maybe they can help me set up the foundation for a very simple* roguelike game that I can build off of. Both the story for the game and the rest of the team have big LGBTQ vibes, so if you are part of the community or an ally that would be a big plus.

BUDGET: Budget depends on amount of help offered and time commitment. I am 100% indie, so please keep that in mind. But let me know what's acceptable to you and I will try to compensate you for your time. Thanks so much.
