this is a game about a mailman from nevada. everyone knows that nevada is full of mail-stealing aliens. you need to get the mail back and finish your deliveries! feedback would be appreciated. this is an early version of the game made for the My First Game Jam Summer 2023.

in level 2, "hit him to get more" is confusing, maybe have it be "throw mail at him to knock the mail he's holding" out?
Some sort of indicator as to how much mail you have, and maybe how much the level needs as part of the HUD
the accurate mail throwing doesn't seem to matter yet in the 3rd level, is there some sort of skill shot/throwing puzzle coming up later?
Other than those minor gripes though, game feels good, very snappy, and mouse aim feels responsive and accurate
the postal wall on level 4 can just be jumped over, making the tutorial a little pointless
also, I think mail should be pickupable immidiately
there seems to be a short delay
alien hitbox is a lil big
music is fun, ive listened to it for a bunch of loops and im not tired of it yet. Also the animation on marty's lil hat is very fun
that said, I think that the hat shouldn't have collision, the number of times I've been annoyed or softlocked by marty taking up three units rather than two when trying to get through breakable blocks is to many.
For the aliens, I think you want one hitbox that lines up with their torso, and another for the head, I beilive you should be able to track the shape of the alien's head accurately, as I think Godot lets you make non-rectangular but 4-line long shapes for hitboxes

thanks! these are all very helpful. i will work on the hitboxes. also, there is already an indicator for the mail, though you may not see it if you are not in fullscreen (I did not spend time on any good scaling)
