#Select a node in inspector

If I select a variable, it doesn't select the node for it in the scene tree. I don't mean selecting the node in the remote scene tree and it showing a list of variables in the inspector, I mean when it gets the path of the selected node (when you select a variable) and it jumps to the node in the remote scene tree. At the moment, it only lets me view the variables of a node I select in the inspector but never highlights the path in the scene tree. This is useful if I want to debug and select a node that is a child or parent of that node I am inspecting.

I've been trying to fix this problem for a long time. It is not something I've found hard to do with Godot 3. Either it is a glitch, an incorrect setting/configuration or Godot 4 is missing this very handy feature.

But nobody seems to understand my explanation or know it exists which surprises me.
