#How do you work with bones2d in low resolution games?

As you can see from the attached GIF the result seems to work but it's nearly impossible to position sprites over the bones.

As of now I'm disabling bone gizmo and blindingly positioning the sprites by trial and error.

Do you have any suggestion on how to improve this workflow?

When you export your pixel art from your editor, are you able to increase the resolution/size? A lot of pixel art tools allow this option while retaining the art.

That way you will have more space to work with

I would like to keep pixelated rendering also in Godot. BTW I mitigated the effect by reducing bones gizmos size from editor settings to the minimum allowed value.

Upscaling will keep your pixelated effect in tact
