Here is my situation, i have a mac (specs in image) that can run blender pretty smoothly and do pretty much everything blender can offer (shading, texturing, modeling, sculpting). But when I come to godot, the editor runs pretty smoothly aswell but when I go ingame, a simple scene (basic character controller with a small platform) i reach 20 fps max. Is there a way to optimize godot to the point that i can run smoothly in game ? I really don’t want to use compatibility (because it works well on that). Thanks for the people that take the time to answer :)

if you're using godot4, i don't think you can get more fps, since vulkan support is incomplete on ivy bridge (intel hd 4000 in your case). i have the same problem as well but it's really on hardware limitation so we can't do anything about it
sad thanks for explaining
Also note that it'll be running at your native screen resolution by default which for a retina is 4k
nope, it’s 2k
Try 1080p, anything above that for me causes huge performance problems
i dont have any performance issues and myh resolution is 2560 x 1600
why would it affect his
