Sounds really interesting. Tho I do not think that I have quite enough experience. Especially since I'm lacking C++ skills (I do know C quite well tho). Anyways this sure does sound fun but I would likely slow you guys down

Do you intend to have weapon skins or something similar to Valorant, which has completely unique skin models, in the game? This way, a weapon model would need a specific workflow and optimization to have skins implemented more easily.

#

If you like the weapon designs and models of Sweet Tooth, I could prepare them for use in the engine by modeling a low-poly version, optional high-detail baking, UVing; and perhaps make some simple "skins"/shaders.

#

Okay cool, feel free to DM me the discord invite. That should work with my discord settings..

#

Animations and characters not, no. But I have experience with props, terrain and vegetation.

#

Btw do you want everything to be done in C++? Because, netcode and backend programming I understand the reasoning. But I think movement/gameplay/gunplay would be easier to do in GDScript?

#

alright
