#Creating Multi-mesh Physical Skeleton

How would I go about creating a physical skeleton that consists of multiple meshes? I've tried doing this in both Blender and Godot but have had no luck in my endeavors. All I ever see regarding skeletons and physical skeletons is single mesh rigs- is something like what I described even possible in Godot?

Seems trivial to make your own with the scene tree. Arms children of of the body. Forearms children of the arms. Hands the children of the forearms
