AI or pathfinding is a must for most projects, but we have no Channels for it. We do for almost all other topics. I feel that it is a missing community topic piece.

Why not a channel about AI in general?

I would love a help topic channel. It isn't very clear where I should ask about things like spatial reasoning, world representation, and other game AI subjects beyond state machines and behavior trees

I feel like thanks to generative AI, an AI channel might have a lot of people misinterpreting and posting about code they got from LLMs

True people misinterpreting it would be a problem, but game AI is so core to games that it feels kind of negligent to not have anywhere to specifically address it. People not knowing the difference between symbolic AI and machine learning is an education issue and this could provide more opportunities to clear up confusion

I really do wish there was better terminology for specifying game AI since "AI" is really becoming a nebulous term though. Maybe call the channel game-ai or symbolic-ai

This would be fine in both #physics or #3d if its a 3D project.
There's also the general help channels (beginner and advanced) which are available for any help issues.
As stated, Godot doesn't really have AI tools built in. I second the fact that this is unnecessary
