#408: Request Timeout

I can't get into the game due System Alert, 408: Request Timeout in the loading screen. The game shuts down
and it instantly crashes/closes 2-3 times when I try to re-open it.
I've tried disabling firewall, anti virus etc, but nothing works.

See if this works for you, looks like its a problem with the DNS server not routing properly to the game's server so try switching to Google's DNS:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings

  2. Right-click your connection > Properties

  3. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Click Properties

  4. Choose Use the following DNS server addresses:

Preferred: 8.8.8.8
Alternate: 8.8.4.4

  1. Click OK and close all tabs

  2. Restart your computer
