I didn't play the game yet since my PC won't even run it (old trash) but I saw over 3 hours of gameplay of it and some of you know me from NMRiH1 and from the map nmo_division that I built
There was a big tactical shooter by an indie company that 3-4 years ago released an alpha and 90% of the reviews were extremely negative, they revaluated their position and now they have a much-much better game with tons of good reviews and a huge community, it is like this 3-4 alpha release never even existed. This is why I believe the devs will eventually make this game much better.

I have to say that the gameplay is quite different from NMRiH1, we're all used to some kind of a linear gameplay where you start in 1 point in the map and it ends in another point of the map while the current map is some sort of an open world map.
We did have anti-objectives which were like alternate objectives that sometimes made you do other stuff or made you go through other areas of the map in order to progress.
In my opinion this should be reverted into a more linear map style and this big map can be turned into it, perhaps add trees or hills that block the player.
If not, at least make some of the future maps as linear, but having more areas to go to is more than welcome - side streets or side areas that you don't have to go to, this gives the player an option to explore more and maybe find hidden items, but he doesn't have to.
Make revives (self ones too) as rare as the Gene Therapy, 1-2 per map (NOT EACH PLAYER).

New objectives ideas:

  • Fish a fish in order to give it to an NPC so he will open a gate or a door for you (Find a hook and fishing gear, 'craft' it by putting it next to each other, then put it in the water, wait up to a minute, fish goes to the guy and you can continue, sometimes you get a shoe)
  • Drive a car into a fence in order to destroy it (Gotta fuel it up first and look for a steering wheel too, but since not enough fuel then you cant continue with it)
    I'll think of more
