So I'm a person who likes to play around on dying light and was wondering why not add some basic parkour like dying light . I wouldn't say go as far as being able to wall jump and stuff but basic muscle ups onto different surfaces like a ambulance instead of having to jump onto the hood then up. Also have it to where you can boost some one so some maps you could have someone boost you up a wall then throw down a latter for different objectives and things of that sort. Also the amount of stuff in your inventory affects how well a person can boost you and speed at which you can climb , kind of like how the amount of stuff in your inventory in the first game affects your speed , and I could continue this but I'll wait to add more since I have many ideas with this and don't want this too much longer.

Hey, I think that sounds really cool. I enjoy the emphasis on teamwork in video games.

I believe it's an idea worth considering. Players can boost team mates up walls and have them help you up if they're above you. It's immersive. And it's more convenient and enjoyable than taking the long way (getting away from something?).

I think that if you were to do a boost, it should not be an "Activation" meaning if a player is crouched they can get jumped on to get a bigger jump. this makes it seamless and easy to control and set up. the player that is crouched should be able to move the same as always so they can't get "trolled"...even though i don't mind getting trolled in this game but that's just a personal preference. Standing up also ends the effect

as for having the weight of people affect it, eh...that would mean I would just drop everything then have to pick it up and it's just clunky

Simple clamering, ie. climbing up on a car hood or other low end. If the jump button is held while in midair then yeah if should do this, but the key word was held. Why? well, it means I still have total control over jump, but as well as some "leway" when it comes to making treacherous jumps. The button can be held at any time to activate this movement in the air so a player can make a split second decision. Obviously if I just hold jump from a standing position, this will just seamlessly go into climbing something
