It really depends, it’s kind of the SI who is handling the cases’ discretion. If they have proof of you “ghosting” them and there is no proof from your end, you will most likely get banned. Whereas if you were talking after the fact, and the SI considers your reasoning for wanting the ticket closed reasonable, you may be let off. But, like I said, it’s basically the SI’s discretion, and it’s really hard to back your point up as a user who has been reported for time waste.

its only considered a scam if you intentionally and maliciously waste someone's time, you won't be in the wrong for cancelling a commission just make sure the other person knows
