Reinstall
  1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
  2. Find and delete these folders:
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download

It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:

Can you try the following please -

  1. Since you're on Steam, verify the game's file integrity: right-click the game in your library, Properties, Installed Files, Verify integrity of game files.
  2. Set Steam to Offline Mode (Steam menu > Go Offline), launch the game directly from Steam, wait until you're fully in-game and moving around, then hit PLAY on Wand to attach.
  3. Check your antivirus or Windows Defender. Wand can sometimes get flagged because of how it interacts with games. Adding Wand and its install folder
    • (C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
    • C:\Users%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand)
      to your antivirus exceptions usually clears that up.
