Problem:
WeMod cheats/mods are not injecting into the game. Error message: "There was a problem loading the mods. If you didn’t close the game, your game version might not be compatible or you may have to allow Wand through your firewall or anti-virus software."

Hello,
I am having issues with WeMod not being able to inject cheats into Deep Rock Galactic.
I keep getting the error message saying I need to allow Wand through my firewall or anti-virus software. However Windows Defender has been completely disabled for a long time and I have double-checked that it is not running at all. I have never used any other third-party antivirus. I have already added WeMod (Wand) to the firewall exceptions. I ran WeMod as Administrator.
Despite all of this none of the cheats are working including unlimited movement unlimited ammo money etc.
Could you please help me figure out why the injection is being blocked?

I have the Steam version of the game. I don't use any other mods. I can't even play solo or co-op because the app can't connect to the game. This is the only error. My mods don't work at all.

Reinstall
  1. Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
  2. Find and delete these folders:
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
    -C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download
