hmmm, we had an update for this title last week
Could you try following these steps and let me know:
We recommend doing a clean reinstall of the game via Steam. After uninstalling, please remove any leftover game files before reinstalling.
Once done, restart your PC, launch the game from Steam without mods, then exit the game. After that, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Clean Reinstall Wand
Uninstall Wand via Add or Remove Programs
Delete the following folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\SquirrelTemp
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\WandRestart your PC
Reinstall Wand by downloading it from: https://wand.com/download
PS: You can find your AppData folder by pressing Win + R, type in %appdata%, and press Enter. Also, if you see any WeMod related folders, please delete them too.
Step 2: Disable Overlay
Disable the Wand overlay by going to Game settings → Overlay options → Overlay and turning it off.
It may also help to temporarily disable any overlays while testing, as they can sometimes interfere with mods. This includes overlays from apps such as Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar, MSI Afterburner/RTSS, and AMD Radeon.
Step 3: Launch OrderFully close both Wand and Steam from your system tray. Once closed, relaunch both applications as Administrator (right-click each app and select “Run as administrator”).
Set Steam to Offline Mode (open Steam → click “Steam” in the top-left → select “Go Offline”).
Launch the game directly from Steam (do not use Wand yet) and load into your saved game.
Wait until the game has fully loaded and you’re able to move around in the game world.
Once in-game, press Alt+Tab to switch to the Wand app, then click PLAY to connect the trainer. When the status shows “PLAYING,” you can enable your mods again.
Does this happen even when you are no longer playing satisfactory?

Try these steps above, they usually do the trick
The app itself running in the backround shouldn't be crashing your PC
