It's possible that your antivirus software is causing interference. Try whitelisting or adding exceptions for the following folders:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Wand
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Wand
How do I do that if it's no longer installed?
Can you please describe more about the installation issue? Are you getting an error message or is the installer simply not launching?
No error messages, it won't launch. The curser changes and shows the hour glass symbol like it normally does for a second or two and then nothing.

- Double make sure there are no remaining files from the last install (you can send over the steps you followed as well)
- Disable your AV temporarily
- Download Wand from the offical website again
- Give re-installing another chance?
A restart of your computer before disabling your AV should also help. Try it out, I am right here to help you in case it doesn't work
Unfortunately, that didn't work.
I'm attempting to back up my data and reinstall Windows, even backup up data is challaging, becuase the OS is corrupted somehow.
Trying to backup my data to a Linux drive results in bad superblock error, running DISM results in can't find the source, I can't reset the computer, no reset option, reinstall.
Have you tried using a different browser to download the latest Wand exe?
