#2 Hour Limit - Unintended Consequences

Hey. Just FYI, an update:
Since there's a two hour limit now for free users, I've been having to plan "which of these games I'm playing with Wand to use for the 2 hours" each night. How far can I get in Dark Souls III in two hours of trying to experience everything? Or Metro Last Light?

But in actuality, since you made this change, I have started playing other games where that I don't need Wand for, time passes, and I don't use Wand anymore. I simply haven't come back to it.

And you'll see that with many players.

When it comes to mature users with disposable income, your service that was really cool and had a real draw for making customers consider a subscription to get more use out of it or support the devs, is now repelling such considerations.

Ditch the 2 hour limit. It's not the way.

Or change the premise. Make something instead like "you can only have 2 or 3 mods active at once on the free plan, and need a sub more more customization".

Since I had to start planning my time using this app around the 2 hour limit, I have not used it again since.

Hey, thank you for sharing this so thoughtfully and for the genuine suggestion about limiting active mods instead of time. That's exactly the kind of constructive feedback that helps us think about alternatives.

We hear you that the timer has had the opposite effect of what was intended, pushing you away rather than encouraging a subscription. That's something we take seriously.

The 2-hour daily session was reintroduced to help us sustainably keep supporting customizations across thousands of games but we understand it doesn't feel like the right trade-off for everyone. Your feedback matters and shapes how we move forward. FrogePray
