#The 2-hour limit is a false good idea

This limit is an absurd idea and puts many people in a difficult position. Making the entire app paid after two hours of use is simply a punishment for young people who don't have money or whose parents don't agree with this "unnecessary" expense. They can only wait until tomorrow with no way to bypass this spending restriction. The same applies to people who simply can't afford it or who already have expenses (medication, loans, housing, etc.).

We need to make it known that this decision is a very bad initiative. There are plenty of ways to encourage people to help without penalizing those who can't. Make the paid version more convenient and allow unlimited access to the free version. (Make mods easier to use in the paid version, such as activation via a shortcut key, and require access to the Wand interface to activate/deactivate a mod in the free version.)

For now, I encourage you to leave a negative review on Trustpilot to get their attention, as they use this rating to boost their profile on the Wand website.

Sincerely, a former user who was originally going to support the project now that their situation is stable, but will not do so under duress, forgetting the players who cannot afford it.

Hey @pallid lynx, thank you so much for writing in!

Just to clarify something important first: the session timer only applies to gameplay customizations. Maps, video highlights, overlay access, and app browsing stay completely free with no limits at all.

That said, we hear you and the accessibility concerns you are raising around younger players and people managing tight budgets are things the team genuinely takes seriously. Posts like this are exactly why the feedback section exists.

The session timer exists because the creators behind Wand's customizations, names you probably know like FLiNG and MrAntiFun, are a paid part of the team. Building, testing, and keeping mods updated across thousands of games takes real sustained effort and this change is what allows us to keep supporting them and the platform long term. It was not a decision made lightly and we know it lands harder for some people than others.

We put together a full FAQ that walks through how the timer works, why this decision was made, and everything that stays free: https://wand.com/support/en/articles/13779085-session-timer-faq

Your feedback is in the right place and the right people will see it.
