You're better off cutting the bloat features [maps, AI guide, video clipping] and trying to recuperate by cutting all resources and development of those things than whatever this self-destructive nonsense is. You can make up all the justifications in the world but you only technically still being 'free' makes you look just as bad as your alternatives and people will go back to decentralized trainers, cheat engine, or just ignoring trainers completely before blowing their limited budgets on a poorly managed cheat suite. You're making the same mistakes every tech company makes by refusing to change but asking for more. Unfortunately for you there isn't some sugar daddy government contract coming to save you.

honestly yeah, the ai? google exsists to look stuff up, hell steams overlay has a built in browser for stuff like that, maps? you can easilly find interactive maps online, and the video clipping?? obs, discord (with nitro) and half a dozen free to use clipping tools out there...fact is, theres also free stand alone trainers out there too
Hey, we hear you and appreciate the candid feedback. We know not everyone agrees with the direction and that's a fair perspective to hold.
The features you mentioned like Maps, Game Guide, and video highlights are part of what we believe makes Wand more than just a trainer app. But we genuinely hear that for a lot of users the core value is and always has been the customizations themselves.
The session timer is there to help us sustainably keep supporting that core, not to push people away. We understand it doesn't feel that way right now and feedback like this genuinely shapes how we think about where we go from here.
“Not to push people away”
That’s what it is doing though and the sad thing is you don’t appear to even realise it
