Look, I’ve been using this app since day one, and this two-hour daily limit feels like a total slap in the face to the community that helped you guys grow. You literally have 'making games more accessible' plastered on your website, right above the words 'we believe gaming should be enjoyable for everyone.' How is cutting off my game time after two hours making anything more accessible? Giving a heads-up announcement doesn't make a bad policy fair; it just feels like a bait-and-switch after promising during the rebrand that there were no plans for new paywalls. It feels like a cheap way to force an upgrade, especially when the timer aggressively cuts off mid-game, ruining unsaved progress and essentially rationing basic accessibility for players who rely on these mods just to play. Don't ruin the basic app for the loyal, long-time users who just want to play their games.
Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that you need to make money and that a paid tier has to exist to keep the lights on. But forcing the core app behind a strict daily timer doesn't justify a paywall—it just ruins the experience for everyone who can't afford it. You are now forcing free users to pay. Premium should be about unlocking awesome extra value, not holding the basic functionality of the app hostage.
Please reconsider this limit and revert the app back to the way things were before. Let the free tier remain free for basic modding, and focus on making your paid features attractive enough that people want to support you, rather than forcing us into a corner.
