I have been using wemod since 2019 daily and i enjoyed it a lot. today i was playing dead island 2 and all of i sudden i found out the mods had a time lock while the day before i didnt have that issue. I can understand that wemod needs a way 2 monetize itself so thats why the pro plan exists which allows for phone connection and adjusting mod settings and controlling it on phone/pc but locking toggling mods on and off behind a time lock is a greedy decision especially since it used 2 be free for years and years. please remove the time lock for free users. Pro users can customize their mods and more so thats why they pay for it but now free users cant even enjoy their mods for longer than 2 hours because of the lock which is so ridiculous. This will turn off a lot of free users who use this app frfr i find it sad this decision was made 🙁
#Time Limit is a greedy decision, please remove it

Hey, appreciate you sharing this and for being with us since 2019! We genuinely hear the frustration, especially after years of unlimited access.
Just to give some context, the 2-hour daily session was reintroduced to help us sustainably keep supporting customizations across thousands of games. Our in-house team builds, tests, and updates every mod and the timer is what keeps that going long term.
We know it's a big change and feedback like this genuinely helps shape how we move forward. The timer resets every midnight and maps, video highlights, and app browsing don't count toward it either.
i have used MrAntiFun on and off since 2016 my wife found it online and showed it to me
i didnt find out about the independent launcher itself till covid hit and i became a constant user im on disability so my income is extremely limited
if the free version only included the mods with ads id be happy with that
no clipping
no voice commands
no maps
just bare bones
no bells and whistles
that should be free
all the extra stuff should go into the paid version
i fully understand the cost of development and servers and services
100% get that its just really stressful since
my main mode of entertainment is gaming and i use wemod to complete games that i seriously struggle with or that i have already beaten and just wanna goof around lol
Completely agree with this assessment. Users on fixed incomes shouldn't be penalized, everyone deserves a functioning spot in the Wand community. I hope the developers go back to the drawing board on this one.
i can completely understand the monetization, the wand team delivers great trainers and a simple application so they should be able to earn something from it in return! but this decision feels 2 forced (like putting a gun 2 someones head while playing and screaming: get wemod pro or we shut down ure mods in 2 hours) the 2 hour time limit is over in an instant and it breaks the immersion in the game. I would suggest removing it entirely and let free users use their mods for an unlimited time. What would be better in regards to this is like let pro users keep their mod customization and phone connection so they can also control in on their phone and add priority mod access when a new option for a game trainer comes out or an entire new trainer. Let pro users have lets say a month or so exclusive acces 2 the new trainer/mod option and then make that trainer/ new option in the trainer free and unlimited acces for free users. But free users should just be able 2 toggle their mods on/off without a time limit but not be able 2 customize the mod settings and control it from their phone!
@proud rover when u say customize do u mean be able to change the keys to something else?
neh not the bindings, with settings i mean lets say adjust the money value if a trainer has an unlimited money toggle yuno
hopefully this makes sense
oh okay i was gonna say i ususally just click on and off lol
i try to stay away from the ones that require me to unput an amount because some of my games crash if i alt tab lmao
imo the maps are kinda handy, should not be locked behind paywall everything else you descibed behind paywall i find no problem. just let free users use the mods without time restrictions
whats ure opinion about that should adjusting the values of mods be behind the paywall if the mod itself has the ability to adjusted?
i mean barebones is subjective
me personally just having a "click here for infinite money" button should be free
but i know plenty of others that would say "the ability to input/adjust the amount of money/xp instead of infinite should be part of barebones"
true it is a bit of a grey area
indeed me personally im fine with everything that is NOT an toggleable on or off button being put behind a paywall
good point, my view is almost the same! no time limit on trainers so everything is toggleable for unlimited time but imo free users should also be able 2 adjust the specific values of the mods in the trainer and look at the map feature unlimited. things like the connect phone and control mods on there, video clipping, voice control and the other stuff can be for pro users only
