Forza 6 issue

Hello. Good afternoon when I launch Forza 6 it’s crashing and says due to wand, everything is closed in the background and I could only play when deleting the app I got other games to play and don’t want to keep redownloading it.

Hey Nico, just make sure you kill off everything through the task manager and that nothing‘s running and Forza will run fine.

I double checked and it does indeed keep crashing

It stops when I fully delete wand

I’m able to play just fine with wand closed. Did the error say wand.exe or wemod overlay

Strange, Are you sure there was no wand process lingering in your task manager?

Yup I also restarted my pc and says the same thing not sure why

Do you have start wand on start up checked on

Nope I turned it off before restarting the oc

Yes there has been a couple reports.

Even restating your PC and not opening wand still causes it to trigger? Could you confirm for me which platform you are playing on. Steam or Xbox?

Looks like this only recently happened, I assume because they saw FH6 being at the top of games getting added, either a bypass will need to be made or it will have to be scrapped

I don’t want it scrapped 😞 paid $120 for the game I should I least enjoy playing with wand

But it’s fine which ever makes me drift in Japan I’ll be fine with either one

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my update on this. I’m using the paid Wand Pro version. I noticed that Forza runs fine, but only if you disable Wand before hitting the "Play" button. If you close Wand after clicking "Play", the game crashes with a "wand.exe prohibited" error. So the workaround for now is to kill the Wand process first, and only then launch the game. Is there a hotfix planned for this anytime soon? Thanks!

It is likely a simple name detection

Probably has a list of tools and cheat software that if it detects the name open it closes your game

So for instance if say Wand was to change its name to a random garbled nonsense it might get past it

I know some tools do this

I had the same problem; I uninstalled the app, and now the game works without any issues.

However, that is not a long-term solution.
