I’m going to say this quickly, and I hope this message reaches the developers.
WeMod is currently one of the applications I use the most because it provides everything I want in a simple and easy way. However, limiting users to only two hours of playtime feels unreasonable in my opinion. Honestly, the idea of paying for a subscription just to use a trainer program already feels heavy to me, and the pricing makes it even harder to justify.
Even the extra features you provide, like screenshots and microphone recording, probably won’t have much value for most users, because people mainly use your program for game modifications, not for recording. Once the two hours are over, I’ll most likely just close the program immediately.
I also understand that, at the end of the day, you are a company and you want to make profit. To be fair, your fast game updates and trainer support are the reason people continue using your service. But as I said, two hours is basically nothing, and with all respect, many people will probably just throw the app away and look for alternatives. You have many competitors offering similar features, and unofficial trainers already exist.
Here’s the idea I have in mind:
Keep the two free hours, but add an option for users to watch ads. For every one-minute ad, the user gets one extra hour. Limit it to three ads, which would give three additional hours. Combined with the original two free hours, users would get up to five hours total. After the five hours are finished, they could continue watching ads to keep playing.
The important thing is: do not show ads during gameplay or when activating mods, because that would be extremely annoying.
This way, free users can continue using the same program with two free hours plus extra hours through ads, while subscribers still get all premium features without advertisements. At the same time, the company earns money from both ads and subscriptions.
