Hello, WeMod(Wand) team. I wanted to ask for about the Two-Hour Limit, it's why I joined the Discord a few minutes ago. It looks like my question was basically answered here, but the wording confuses me a bit, so I'd like to ask it clearer for me and anyone else that might be stuck on the wording.

The users that were grandfathered in also have the time limit now too, right?

If that's true, the need for it makes sense; a lot of the anger probably comes from we were good before and it's a harsh limit though. I've seen some other people mention other ideas like raising the time limit to 4-6 hours or limiting the amount of mods you can use. I like those ideas more too. People that love video games enough to use trainers are not good at stopping at two hours of playing.

Other options to save money could be to have the maps or voice activation not available to free users, only for pro. That feels like more incentive to get it. Unless it's a server cost of how many people are using the mods at once, then yeah. That's rough. Actually if you guys are able, telling people where the cost comes from might make people understand you guys more.

I also saw you guys on YongYea! Nice Sponsor!

If they raise the limit of how long you can use mods that defeats the whole purpose of implementing the time limit and why would they Pro gate something that the majority of users probably don't use? When they did this before they said the majority of people were using the app less than 2 hours per day.

Putting the map and other smaller things behind Pro even if a majority doesn't use it, still saves money because it's not being set up for everyone to use. Less man power or usage goes towards making sure it runs smoothly on ever single app, ya know?
And raising the time limit makes people less mad, makes not as many people leave, which is better than a lot leaving. Or even doing it based on how long they've used WeMod with still a cap on how much the time limit is raised.

It's about finding a middle ground of users being happy and WeMod making ends meet. WeMod technically doesn't need to find a middle ground, it's their company to do what they feel is best, but users/costumers is the purpose of a business. Gamers are especially loud and opinionated, so it's harder to find where the middle ground is.

Whenever I use WeMod, it is definitely longer than two hours. It's closer to nine on a regular, I imagine. Not saying I'm part of the majority, I just find it hard to imagine a regular gaming session less than four. Maybe three if I'm giving it some leeway.

The majority of people aren't playing 9 hours per day and if you are playing that long why does it matter if it is 2 or 4, you would still have to pay???

An no, pro gating features does not save money, they still have to have the same servers and manpower for them. Also "less people being mad" is a dumb thing to worry about. Some people will leave but a lot will just pay or accept they only get 2 hours per day and figure out how to do without it. People leaving is better for them. Less traffic = less infrastructure cost

Its not like ads on an app like this make any money.

The first part of what you said is kinda the point of extending it. Two hours is so little, four hours seems fair. Even if it didn't cover the entire time, four hours wouldn't bother me or other people as much as two hours. It also lets you plan better if it's slightly longer.

And I guess I misunderstand the space and cost required if they were to remove features from free and put it behind Pro, that's my bad.

Less people being mad is a little bit of a good thing to worry about, depending on the situation. More people mad, means they leave, means they have negative things to say, means new people stay away. Less people mad means less of all of that plus the added effect of the people staying easing concerns of new people because they were going to leave, something was fixed, then they decided to stay.

I just realized your name too, and I'm not super sure if you're trolling me? I'm not real good at getting vibes from text messages.

I also was just wanting a clear answer on the grandfathered in users. I've been thinking about getting pro for a few months, but I have to plan money out a lot. This happening gives me mixed feelings on getting it though.
