#2-Hour Limit Cheat use, Ridiculous Regulation

Here my constructive suggestion:

  1. Have you fired the CEO who built WeMod in the first place? Do you still remember what inspired you to create WeMod? I asked that first. If you've forgotten, you're not on the right track.
  2. If you remember what WeMod was actually built for, using cheats to play to your heart's content, you remember the tagline "Your Games, Your Rules", not "You must pay to use cheats"
  3. Wemod was also built without any gimmicks for recording video games, this feature is very unimportant, we already have steam record, and obs and many software that focus more on this aspect, so if wemod wants to focus, it is enough to create a complete cheat environment, not spreading everywhere nonsensical
  4. For the paid context, there must be a sponsor who says "This is for the creators", this is nonsense, for several years contributors to Fling, MRAntifun, and so on, they are voluntary contributors, don't force your will and greed and hide behind the interests of contributors, get rid of useless services and features, it burdens your finances
  5. You already have a lot of income streamlines, you can push more in the ads aspect, but don't let it become too annoying.
    Here are my demands:
  6. Remove the 2-hour time limit using just this cheat. How much does this cheat cost your server? Millions of dollars in server rentals? Is the cheat more important, or your useless features?
  7. We still have the old method of using the cheat engine. So, as long as the first demand isn't lifted, I'll boycott your product until the first demand is met.

Regards,
BlackSyX

"Thanks for 4 years as a free member and for being with us from the very start. We understand this change feels frustrating and we hear you. Our mods are created and maintained by a paid team of creators who build, test, and update them across thousands of games. The session timer is how we support their ongoing work while still keeping a free tier available. We're sorry this isn't the direction you were hoping for and we wish you all the best!"

Answer: Like Fling & MR Antifun, every single trainer size, around 300-800 kb, if you sever too heavy every day send files there, make a local choice, our computer is ready to store it, only when the mod has an update we download it again from your server

#

We survive from mods or cheats that haven't been updated in real time for decades.

As a business professional, monetizing an app like this is incredibly difficult. What you can do is eliminate unnecessary features that burden your servers. Streamline your organizational structure. You can only rely on ads for revenue. Your business model isn't that crucial, and people will easily switch, and it's more convenient to stop using it if you force users to pay.

Those of you who created the two-hour limit need to step back and face reality. Your app isn't that crucial.

I'll give you a comparison:

  1. Claude Pro Subscription
  2. I Cloud 1TB Subscription
  3. Netflix Subscription
  4. Wemod Subscription

Which is more important?

Hey @glad mortar, four years with us means a lot, and that's exactly why we want to give your feedback a real answer rather than a form response.

On the direction of Wand, nothing has changed. Helping players customize their games on their own terms is still the whole point. We hear the concern that it might not feel that way right now, and that's on us to demonstrate.

On recording and video features, we understand it can feel like we're drifting from what matters. But this is intentional. Wand has grown into something bigger than customizations alone, and that's by design. Game Guide, Maps, video highlights, the overlay, these exist because we want to make gaming more accessible and more enjoyable for every kind of player. Customizations are the core and always will be, but we're building a platform that serves you beyond that. Every piece has a purpose.

On the technical side, the cost was never really about storage or bandwidth. It's also the work behind them. Every game patch that breaks things overnight, every new title added, every update FLiNG, MrAntiFun, and the rest of the team pushes out to keep things current. And as the community grows, so does everything that supports it, developers, support staff, moderators, infrastructure. More players means more games, more updates, more people needing help. The finances don't stand still just because the files are light. Wand is community-driven at heart, and it's also a real company with real people depending on it. We keep our pricing as fair as we can because accessibility has always mattered to us, and that's not changing.

On the 2-hour limit, we know this is the part that stings most. The timer only applies to active gameplay customization sessions. Maps, Game Guide, video highlights and everything else stay completely free with no limits, and your two hours resets every night at midnight local time. It's a real trade-off, and we didn't make it lightly.

On where Wand ranks against your other subscriptions, that's genuinely a personal call, and we respect that.

We'd genuinely rather keep you. Players who care enough to write something like this are exactly who this platform is for. We hope you give us the chance to earn that back.

  1. I subscribe to Claude, allowing me to learn, work, and impact my life. Sometimes I switch to ChatGPT and sometimes Grook.
  2. I subscribe to 1TB of iCloud to store my photos.
  3. I subscribe to Netflix, but I don't watch it every month; sometimes it changes to HBO MAX, Amazon Prime, and Disney+.
  4. If I don't subscribe to Wemod, nothing happens, and I can freely leave it. What's your competitive advantage? Do you commit gatekeeping cheat/mod? Yes, you definitely will, as in the case of journals like Elsiver.

And I will add something from myself: why did you add Wand/We Mod to Epic Games?

Do any of you clearly and competent understand how business works? Even YouTube, as a large company, has struggled to generate revenue lately, perhaps due to AI and war, which are draining consumers' money. And you're launching a corporate action, even as the Iran-US war rages on? What a bad time.
