Possible Reasons for Bitness Mismatch in Your Games
•The Game Updated from 32-bit to 64-bit: This is extremely rare and generally only occurs with older games.
•The Game Has a Launcher: You need to launch the game first, then alt-tab and click 'Play' in Wand once your game has fully loaded.
•Anti-Cheat Software: The game might have anti-cheat measures that need to be disabled before you can play. Please check the Read Before Playing section of the trainer for any special instructions.
it still does the same
Hey @thorny estuary, how are you today?
Since R.U.S.E just came back on Steam it likely got updated to a 64-bit version. Here are a couple of things to try!
Method 1: Check for launch options
Open Steam
Go to your Library
Right-click R.U.S.E
Click Properties
Look for Launch Options or a similar setting
See if there's an option to select 64-bit version
Method 2: Find the 64-bit .exe file
In Steam, right-click Ghost Recon Wildlands
Select Properties → Installed Files → Browse
This opens the game installation folder
Look for a file named RUSE_x64.exe (or similar)
Launch the game by double-clicking this .exe file directly
Method 3: Set Steam to launch 64-bit by default
Right-click the game in Steam → Properties
In Launch Options, try entering: -64bit or /64bit
Click OK and launch the game normally
Most likely: You'll need to use Method 2 - launching the x64.exe file directly from the game folder.
Let me know! ❤️
i will give this a try thank u sory for this btw
No worries at all! take your time, I'll be here
this is what i see i put in the 64 bit in launch options but i will give it a try and see if this works
One small thing! In the launch options it looks like it's showing just 64bit but it needs a dash in front so it should be -64bit. Give that a quick update and try again. If that still doesn't do it, Method 2 is probably your best bet since RUSE.exe is right there in your folder already!
-64bit or /64bit
should i do a verfiy my files on there or just launch it ?
Just go ahead and launch it first
still doin it
Did you add the dash on the launch option? -64bit or /64bit
Try lauching with "-64bit" then try "/64bit"
If the first option doesn't work
If none works, go back to your game folder where you found RUSE.exe and launch the game by double clicking that file directly instead of through Steam. Then hop into Wand and it should connect to the right version
that 1 didnt work but ill try the file way that u just highlighted
Okay
still doing it i wonder if its something else cause the game just came back on steam today which was a surprise to me tbh but i had this on the 360 then on xb1 then tried to see on pc now its back im happy
Im sorry for any issues and that
No need to apologize! I'm here to help you
Will pass on this to our team so they can take a look, we will keep you posted once there's any updates regarding this mismatch! Thanks for your patience
Thx for the help though u have been a great help hope u have a fun day 🙂🙂
You too! Have an amazing day ahead
Should I just leave that bit till ruse cheat thing gets an update or ?
Yep that's the best move for now! Since the game just came back on Steam it's probably still settling.
Hey @thorny estuary! Appreciate you flagging this one. Our team gave it a go and managed to replicate the issue, so the game is now in queue for an update. I'll share more as soon as I hear back.
If you'd like a notification the moment the updated trainer is released, open the game's page in Wand and hit the bell icon beside the games title. We really appreciate your understanding while we get this sorted!
i gave it so many boosts like no joke and i hit the bell but thx for the heads up
That's awesome! I'll go ahead and close the ticket now!
