I've tried everything in this closed post https://discord.com/channels/210943012828610560/1452360695793324042
I'm logged in.
I can go to any game, and it says "Can't connect to wand" with a retry button,
I use shift-ctrl-D for dev console.
went to network tab, cleared current stuff, and hit the retry button. The request to retrieve game versions gets a status of 403 forbidden.
This happens for every game, since I don't have any games mods downloaded after I cleaned and reinstalled.
I've tried on VPN, off VPN, running wand as admin explicitly from the start menu, uninstalling - rebooting -installing.
I've tried Beta as well.
I'm still on win10 on this computer, as it can't upgrade.
first screenshot is from stable, second is from beta.
I have collected the log file.

Hey @vapid sentinel There's very likely something on your network or antivirus blocking Wand's process. I noticed in your photo that the app was prompting you for an update, so there is some communication happening. Do you use Kaspersky and did you refuse a Windows prompt at any point? Could you also confirm you've followed steps like these when reinstalling and checking your firewall settings?
- Use Add or Remove Programs or Control Panel to uninstall Wand.
- Find and delete these folders:
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Local\Wand
-C:\Users\Your_Name\AppData\Roaming\Wand - Restart your PC.
- Reinstall Wand by downloading from: https://wand.com/download
Confirmed, that's exactly what I did. I also disabled the windows firewall, and excepted those two folders in defender. It's not having trouble getting through to the server, it's just not getting authorized. I have no proxies set.
The photo prompting for the update was because I set beta before the stable screenshot, the dev console still applies to stable in that one. It was just telling me beta was ready to install.
I don't use any 3rd party anti-virus
Are you on any kind of public network or by chance in a country that doesn't support Cloudflare? Could you also confirm you're on the last Windows 10 update they released and that your computer clock is synced?
I'm in Indiana, USA.
I will check the clock, but everything else on here works like normal, like Spotify, steam, etc. I don't think it's a clock issue. I would be more suspicious of some certificate mismatch in jwt perhaps. Or, perhaps there's old registry entries that's interfering, from wemod to wand, I don't know what keys would interfere.
Hey LongIslandMan! Just following up to see if the issues are still persisting. Have you tried different VPN locations or even repairing Windows and making sure you're on the latest .NET Framework?
